Extended Day Program
Before – and after-care at Shepherd is provided by the STAR Achievers Program, in coordination with the Out-of-School-Time Office of DCPS. Before care runs from 7:30 – 8:30 a.m., including breakfast, if desired. After care runs from 3:15 – 6:30, including a light supper. The extended day program includes a variety of academic and enrichment activities, as well as time to play and unwind under the supervision of certified DCPS teachers and educational aides.
