Discipline
Students are expected to comply with all rules and regulations or face dismissal. We will employ the Three-Strike Rule. Any student preventing or interrupting the smooth delivery of services to other students faces dismissal. The sequence for dismissal will be as follows:
Infraction #1 — Warning Letter/Notification by letter/phone
Infraction #2 — Conference with Parent
Infraction #3 — Dismissal from the Program
The following will not be tolerated:
- Fights and assaults
- Thefts and extortion
- Threats/Gambling
- Possession, use, holding of drugs or any illegal substances
- Smoking on or about the school premises
- Profane and/or abusive language
- Walking Halls/leaving school without permission
- Beepers, radios, tape players, walkman, or cell phones
- Disrespect of fellow students or staff
- Inappropriate contact
Students who participate in the program must report direct to STAR Achievers at 3:15 p.m. dismissal.
