Health and Well-Being

Shepherd utilizes the 3Rs (Rights, Respect, and Responsibility) curriculum for health education instruction.

In addition to weekly Physical Education (PE) classes, students have 30 minutes of allocated recess time per day. When the weather is dry and 32 degrees Fahrenheit (wind chill will be considered) or above, the children will spend some time outside. Consider weather conditions to ensure that students are dressed appropriately. Hats, coats, and gloves should be sent with your children during cold weather months.
